People Magazine Criticized For Celebrating Trump Mere Weeks After Publishing Account Of Sexual Misconduct

People Magazine’s latest issue has set off a storm of controversy and outrage.

People Magazine’s latest issue has set off a storm of controversy and outrage, reports the Huffington Post.
On the cover is perhaps the most flattering photo ever taken of Donald Trump. The text reads “President Trump: His life, his family & his astonishing journey to the White House.”
That is a far departure from weeks ago when the magazine published the story of Natasha Stoynoff, a People writer who said she was sexually assaulted by Trump in 2005.
While such allegations are mentioned in the issue, they are only given a paragraph-or so.
Social media was quick to comment on the rapid about-face.
One person tweeted, “People's so psyched for its new First Family. Never tell me sexual assault accusations ruin a man's life ever again.”
Another wrote, “This is not ok. We do not normalize this kind of behavior.”
There have also been numerous calls for a boycott of the magazine.
