Former Arizona governor Jan Brewer, a long-time supporter of Donald Trump, was a panelist on CNN’s show ‘State of the Union’ on Sunday when she stated that Trump is being ‘waterboarded’ by the claims of women accusing him of acting inappropriately towards them.

A former Republican governor of Arizona has compared the recent treatment of Donald Trump to waterboarding.
On Sunday, Jan Brewer, a long-time Trump supporter, participated in a panel discussion on the CNN show, State of the Union.
Host Jake Tapper showed a clip of the nominee giving a campaign speech in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on Saturday where he spent time attacking the women who have claimed that he acted inappropriately towards them in the past.
Tapper criticized Trump for not addressing issues that are important to the voters during what the host referred to as “a 15-minute rant.”
Brewer immediately came to the businessman’s defense, saying, “He's been waterboarded by these issues. It seems like it's really been kind of, somewhat of a put-up oppression of Donald Trump from all of these people lining up.  It's just unbelievable. And anybody that’s been under those kinds of assaults, I think, wants to defend themselves.”
The other panelists then tried to jump in, but she continued, “He did a great job explaining to the American people. Donald Trump is authentic.”
