Foster youth have it very difficult in America. '1/3 go on welfare, 1/3 go to prison and 1/2 will live on the streets within 2 years of leaving care'. America's Most Unwanted is a short documentary by and from LGBTQ foster youth who have an even deeper perspective and a candor that inspires. This hopeful film is an expose on self-preservation and rising up to survive. Not an adult hero story but an empowerment tale--this video is meant for all ages 13-95.
