Nowitzki ranks 11th among active players in regular-season games played. With the win, Dallas improved to 661-339 all-time in the regular season with Nowitzki in the lineup.

Jason Kidd, who is the NBA's active leader in games played, appeared in his 1,274th regular-season contest on Wednesday, pulling him even with Terry Porter for 16th place on the NBA's all-time list.

Phoenix Suns Marcin Gortat posted his first double-double of the season with a game-high 22 points.
