Drew Brees receives $44.25M guaranteed in contract extension

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is sticking with the team a little bit longer after agreeing to a contract extension Wednesday. According to NFL Network, he'll receive $44.25 million fully guaranteed over the next two years and he gets more than the $20 million in 2016. Brees also received a $30 million signing bonus on what is a five-year contract that voids down to two years and has a no-trade clause. Brees said.
