SAO PAULO, BRAZIL — A Brazilian actor obsessed with plastic surgery has ignored warning by experts and had two ribs his removed to get closer to his goal of looking like a real-life Ken doll.

Insecure about his appearence, 28-year-old Mauricio Galdi was looking for a plastic surgeon to remove his ribs, the Daily Star reported.

Mauricio traveled to the U.S. to meet surgeons Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif of the TV show Botched. After examining him, they said the procedure would be too dangerous.

So Mauricio, who told the Star he only works with the “best” doctors, found a surgeon in Brazil who agreed to perform the operation.

Now, after chest implants, four nose jobs, liposuction, and his latest procedure, Mauricio is close to being satisfied, he told the Star.

He says his days of going under the knife in search of that perfect look are will soon come to an end. “I know if I do more things I'll lose my personality and my control,” he told the Star. “I'd look like a turkey and not like a Ken.”
