EDWARD Y KIM - MEMORIAL VIDEO

A celebratory video on Edward Youngki Kim. With grateful remembrances and love for the one who gave so much to everyone who were fortunate to have known him. A life truly well lived and to the fullest.., even to his final breath on earth. He embodied all that which is beautiful in humanity. He will forever be missed, yet his love is eternally felt.
This video was made to be shown at a surprise birthday party, one we all feared could be his last. Instead, the video was slightly modified just before completion and first shown at his funeral. That was in March of 1999. I will soon begin gathering remembrances, photos and video footages to be incorporated into a 10 year Memorial video. I invite all who knew my dad - that includes aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings, nieces, nephews.., simply all family, friends and associates from near and far to share anything you may want to have included in the video.., to be shown next March.
*This video is best seen in original or minimized screen size. Each photo was individually scanned by hand then resized for loading. Older video footages, originally shot on super 8mm was first projected onto a wall (with borrowed projector from the archives of a non-profit media arts center) then recorded again off of the wall with handheld camcorder for uploading prior to video edits. In addition to original music and songs by subjects in video.., mostly set to medley of songs by various artists including Patty Kim, Mija Lee, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Young Nam Cho and others I can't recall. These represent some of my dad's favorite songs which seem to best accompany the images shown. Would appreciate knowing the remaining names of singers highlighted in video so that their names can be credited along with others :-)) Thanks for watching!
