Meher Malik is proud to present the Banjara School of Dance, an intiative to bring together different dancers from different styles and cultures of dance.
Banjara is not merely a dance company but an artistic shelter where different minds,bodies and souls will meet to create higher and greater levels of dance in this country.
The word Banjara translates to gypsy - a word given to travellers who lead a nomadic lifestlye. Somewhere,every artist is a gypsy - always searching for more, an inspiration, a story. A note in the soul of every human being is an artist - searching for what's beautiful, what's aesthetic. We're all gypsies - our mind wanders to the sea or mountains when life gets too full of itself.
