Unique Wind Turbine Prototype May Be the Future of Wind Energy

This massive piece of engineering is called the RM 400 and it just may be the future of collecting wind energy. Spanish engineer Ricardo Morcillo Molina worked on the design for 14 years before finally being able to build the wind turbine prototype to demonstrate all of its many benefits. With rotors measuring justs over 32 feet in diameter, the massive wind turbine can power about 100 households per month, producing an average of 300 KW of electricity per hour.
