Karan Johar’s Shuddhi is a project that has been passed from actors to actors. The final star cast was decided after much speculations. Earlier Hrithik-Kareena was supposed to be in the lead. When Kareena was asked about why she left the project she promptly replied, “When Hrithik didn't do the film, I don't think it just made sense. Because that film I think was all about Hrithik and Kareena coming back.” The couple’s chemistry was loved by all in their earlier films and there was excitement about them coming up once again. Kareena however has no regrets about leaving. Maybe the 2 get to work together once again.
