Movies often tell uplifting tales involving turns of fate, and thanks to director Michael Bay, a dog in the U.K. is about to experience a real-life Cinderella story, reports BBC.
Known by many as the "world’s loneliest dog," Freya, a Staffordshire bull terrier who has been living at a shelter for nearly 6 years, will soon become a movie star.
Plus, she’ll end up living with a family she can call her own.
Freya’s plight was brought to the world’s attention in late May, when Freshfields Animal Rescue shared her photo and news of her sad situation, notes The Dodo.
Michael Bay was among those who read about her and recently announced via Twitter, “We gave the Loneliest Dog, a role in Transformers…We are also going to find her a home...If not she will come to my house. Welcome to the cast Freya!"
