Texas ranchers drive cattle across highway to escape flood Historic flooding in east Texas forced ranchers to drive their cattle across a highway on Thursday after some of the herd had drowned.
Video released by the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office that day shows hundreds of cows being driven across the highways of US 90-A and FM 359 in Richmond, after traffic had been blocked off by authorities.
