Professional golfer Phil Mickelson agreed to forfeit nearly $1 million that the Securities and Exchange Commission said was unfairly earned on a tip from an insider trading scheme carried out by former director of Dean Foods Thomas Davis and professional gambler William Walters The SEC says in 2012 Mickelson owed Walters money so Walters urged him to trade Dean Foods stock, earning the golfer $931,000 Mickelson was not charged criminally
