Doctor Jazz Stomp – Ernie Carson
Ernie Carson and his Quartet in performance in Altanta in the mid seventies. Next to Ernie on cornet we see Herman Foretich clarinet, Michael Dargan “Peanuts” Fitch banjo and Hal “Shorty” Johnson tuba.
In the seventies Ernie would often play in the Netherlands as well.
He has done several recordings for drummer Ted Easton’s Dutch Riff label. These were never issued. After Ted Easton’s passing Ernie told me that these recordings are in the hands of Ted’s widow. Ernie has never heard these.
Is there anybody in the Netherlands who could let me know how we can get in touch with his widow.
