Turkish Prime Minister forced to quit by President Erdogan

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, announced his resignation, paving the way for President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to tighten his grip on power.
Mr Davutoglu, who has fallen out with Mr Erdogan, said he would not be seek a new mandate as ruling party chief at an extraordinary party congress on May 22, meaning he will step down as Prime Minister.
