Underwater footage of a huge abandoned fishing net off the coast of the Maldives, demonstrating the danger they pose to fish and large sea animals such as turtles.
The video, filmed off the coast of Huraa, shows dead fish hanging from the net while smaller fish feed on the carcass.
The filmer, a conservationist looking to raise awareness about the dangers of ocean plastic and abandoned fishing equipment, later wrote online: "Every year upwards of 640,000 tonnes of ghost gear are produced worldwide.
"They continue to catch and kill animals causing thousands to die every year."
