Movie villains aren’t always bad guys, in fact sometimes we actually agree with them. What villains can we get behind?
Whether it’s because they have a valid reasons for what they’re doing, because there are worse people in the movie, the protagonists just suck, or they are particularly sympathetic, sometimes villains aren’t really bad guys. We take a look at some of the movie antagonists that could also be considered heroes when you see things from their perspective.
Casey went with Roy Batty from Blade Runner.
Anna chose Dalton Russell from Inside Man.
Clint picked General Hummel from The Rock and Principal Rooney from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
Dave chose Koba from Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Dr. Faulkner from Bio-Dome.
What movie villains can you get behind? Why? What did you think of our choices? Do you think we should find another reason to talk about Bio-Dome?
