Behind The Scenes with Dirt Rider's Boot Review
Buying an off-road boot is no small purchase, and there are so many options out there that the average rider can get very overwhelmed when trying to decide which brand of moto footwear to go with. To help inform your decision, Dirt Rider is currently conducting a 'Boot Personality Test' in which we're trying all of the major brands and judging them based on comfort, protection, durability, fit, sizing, and more. So far, we have multiple test days on all of the boots, and we've been riding both moto and off-road with them. All of the major players—Sidi, Alpinestars, Gaerne, Fox, and TCX are there, along with some lesser known boot brands like Axo and Acerbis. It's important to note that this is not a comparison in that we are not ranking the boots and there will be no winner declared; rather, we're simply articulating how each boot fits and feels when on the bike. To see the full story, check out the July 2016 issue of the magazine.
