Alaska Breaks March Temperature Record

Alaska experienced record-breaking temperatures on March 31 this year. The National Weather Service Alaska Region tweeted that the town of Klawock had reached a high of 71-degrees Fahrenheit which “is, preliminarily, the warmest official temp in Alaska in March.”

The post goes on to note that the prior record, 69 degrees in Ketchikan, had been set in 1915.
