In this episode, Amitabh Bachchan pays a surprise visit to the stage of X Factor for the promotion of his upcoming movie Aarakshan. He gives a special message of peace and recites a famous quote from John F. Kennedy, "Ask not what the country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country". Aditya Narayan announces that Amitabh Bachchan has a surprise for the contestants. Amitabh Bachchan tells them that the performer of the evening will receive a silver coin with Goddess Saraswati embedded on it from him. Deewana Group presents a tribute to Amitabh Bachchan with their medley on 'Pag Ghunghroo Baandh' and 'Jhoom Barabar Jhoom'. Amitabh Bachchan tells them that with their performance they reminded him of the old times. Shahnwaz Khan paid a visit to his home at Udaipur where he met his wife and new born daughter. Judge Gurus also give him a gift for his daughter and Sanjay Leela Bhansali gives a rose to Shahnwaz. Rafique tell Amitabh Bachchan that he is a very big fan of him and also shows him the photograph that he got for 50 paisa when he was in 3rd grade. Amit Jhadav sways everyone with his glittery performance on 'Saara Zamana'. Amitabh Bachchan shares his experience when he shot this song in Kolkata, where he was wired with 220 volts of electric current. Judge Gurus appreciate Amit Jhadav for his performance consisting of his dance moves. Sahiti G enters the stage with her courageous performance on 'Pyar Karne Wale' from the movie Shaan. Amitabh Bachchan appreciates her for her improvisation. Judge Gurus too congratulate her for her flamboyance. Sajda Sisters enter the stage with their version of 'Mausam Mastana' from the movie Satte Pe Satta. Once again they impress everyone with their synchronized and coordinated singing. Amitabh tells them that they did the harmonies very well. Sonu Nigam congratulates Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his effort to bring them back in to the form. Sanjay Leela Bhansali gives them a hug. Nirmitee Group crushes the stage with their mind blowing performance on 'Chumma Chumma De De'. Amitabh Bachchan appreciates their creativity. Judge Gurus tell them to work harder next time. Nirmitee dedicates a special performance on 'Seedhe Point Pe' from the movie Aarakshan to Amitabh Bachchan.

Open to all citizens of India over the age of 16, the auditions will be divided into 3 categories, viz. 16-25 years, 25 & above and individual groups. As one of the judges for X FACTOR INDIA' Sanjay has vowed to pick only the best.
Shreya Ghoshal: For Shreya life has come full circle, from a being a contestant on a reality show to being the judge on the biggest music reality show on Indian television. This gifted singer's first film "Devdas" not only saw her getting a Filmfare 'RD. Burman Award for New Music Talent' but also the 'best female playback singer' award. After lending her voice in more than 180 films and receiving four National Film Awards, she is all set to win hearts in her new avatar as a judge in X FACTOR INDIA.
