Stop N Go Tire Repair update

Back in September, while on vacation, I punctured my rear tire with a cotter pin. Luckily someone was carrying a Stop N Go tire plugger kit and let me use it to repair the tire.

I have since been looking for information regarding long term application of the tire plugger. What I have found is the most frustrating waste of time I have ever indulged in.

The reviews are at best mixed with many differing opinions. Some reviews do not even seem to be for the Stop N Go tire plugger kit but something else. The tire specialists, who work for the industry, say never plug replace because no plugs will work.

Those who have used the Stop N Go tire plugger kit (you can tell by their post), say plug it and forget it. That's encouraging.

I suspect that the truth lies somewhere between never plug it and plug it and forget about it. Well I have the perfect test for both points of view.

All winter long my Silverwing has waited to be used again. Braving the elements and locked down in the driveway, she waits for that first warm day to be called back into service, and I can't wait to see how well the plug has done on the rear tire.

This video is as I found the tire with only limited editting.
