Gigi the Parrot Gets Blinged Out Beak with World's First Titanium Bird Prosthesis

This video courtesy of CETAS shows Gigi the parrot with her all new titanium beak, specially created by 3D printer, loving life at the Animal Care Center Ipiranga in Sao Paulo. Veterinarians teamed up with 3D printing experts from Renato Archer Technology and Information Centerto create the special beak for Gigi after the previously captive macaw was brought to the shelter with a beak so injured she wasn't able to feed herself.
