Everyone knows wedding are a happy, fun filled time, and everyone looks forward to the maid of honor speech. Because of this, the wedding can often be a stressful time for the bride’s maid of honor. A good wedding speech needs to knock out three categories, funny, heartfelt, and moving to be successful and that can often be tough. These two maid of honors happened to be the bride’s sisters and they didn’t want to let her down on her big day. After having trouble figuring out exactly what direction to take their speech in, the two found a new and exciting way to toast the bride and groom. I think they nailed it! They decided to turn away from boring, generic speech writing and found a different way to express their feelings, singing. These two maid of honors brought smiles and tears to the audience as they told their sister through song how much she means to them and how happy they are for her. These specially crafted, personal lyrics made their speech not only fun, but moving and special. This was a hard act to follow. I think their sister was very happy with the performance and this moment will definitely be remembered for a very long time. Maybe this should become the new norm for speeches?
