Syria's Assad wants talks while 'fighting terrorism'

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad said he supported peace talks, but that negotiations do "not mean that we stop fighting terrorism" also warning that the French government must change its "destructive policies" in support of extremists, in an exclusive interview with AFP given a few hours before a working group of 17 countries meeting in Munich agreed "to implement a nationwide cessation of hostilities to begin in a target of one week's time."
