Sun, Sex and Suspicious Parents throws open the doors on the ultimate rite of passage for the average teenager - the first ever summer holiday abroad without their parents. But what these teenagers couldn't possibly have guessed is that whilst they enjoy their first taste of freedom, with all its temptations and excesses, they are being secretly watched... by their parents. It will be an eye-opening experience, but will it bring them closer together or drive them further apart?
It's sun, sex and excess on the Greek island of Zante. 19-year-old beauty student Alex from Newcastle can't wait for her first holiday with friends. Over in Brighton, 18-year-old ladette Sophie is looking forward to having a wild time with her mates and the chance to get away from her religious parents.
What they don't know is that their parents are also heading over to Zante to spy on their every move.
Brought up by her single mum until she was 10, Alex has found it difficult to deal with her stepfather and things are very tense at home. He is hoping that this experience will bring them closer as a family. Sophie's Christian parents are hoping that her upbringing has given her a good moral compass, meaning she won't partake in casual sex.
It's the first day and Sophie is already getting acquainted with some Italian boys in the pool. They then hit the strip and by 2am the Brighton bunch are rolling around on the floor.
On the other end of the strip Alex is taking part in some rude drinking games. Alcohol-fuelled arguments erupt between the friends and Alex is left in tears. Drunk and emotional, she reflects on how she feels about her stepdad. What she doesn't know is that he and her mum are both watching.
When Alex's mum and stepfather revel themselves to Alex they don't know whether it will bring them all closer together or drive them further apart.
