The Arizona wilderness, 1880. Gen. Fletcher Blackwell sends a message telling Capt. 00:00I want to tell you about a moving picture that really moves. It's called Fury at Furnace Creek.
00:15Take my tip. Don't miss it. These scenes you're looking at are not the artificial west of a motion
00:21picture studio. They're the real thing. Fury at Furnace Creek is an exciting story that's long
00:27been famous in the desert country. The drama of two brothers who fought to clear their father's
00:32name and ended up fighting each other. To keep its reality, 20th Century Fox filmed it at the
00:38actual locales of its thrilling episodes. That's just one of many reasons why I enjoyed it and why
00:45you'll enjoy it. The cast is headed by Victor Mature as one of the avenging brothers and Colleen
00:51Gray who has a score of her own to settle. You saw them together in that very big hit Kiss of Death.
00:57Other top personalities include Glenn Langan as the younger brother and Reginald Gardner as the
01:03victim of his own conscience. Look, Mr. Cameron, you can help me. Nobody need know. You could say I
01:08stole it. I know what I could do. The point is why should I? Well, I guess there's no reason except
01:13that I'll be killed if you don't. But since we're talking, I'd like to say my piece. There are a lot
01:21of people in this town that want Walsh dead. He's beginning to break and sooner or later he'll talk.
01:27If he lives. I aim to keep him alive until he does. Stay clear of him until I'm through with him and
01:36stay clear of me. Molly, my father had no more to do with the massacre than you did. He was framed
01:41pure and simple. You've got to believe me and trust me. My pa used to say that when a man asks
01:46you to trust him, it's time to get out of his firing range. Come on, you. Get up the stairs. Go on.
01:59What you've just seen of Fury at Furnace Creek gives only a hint of how fine a picture it is.
02:04Take my word for it. It's great entertainment. No theater goer should miss it. Yours truly, Gregory Peck.
