A 61-year-old Buddhist monk was robbed at a Sunoco gas station in Philadelphia on January 3rd while buying lottery tickets.
A 61-year-old Buddhist monk was robbed at a Sunoco gas station in Philadelphia on January 3rd.
According to the Philadelphia Police Department, while the man was purchasing lottery tickets, "an unknown black male approached the complainant from behind," and grabbed his wallet which contained $350.
The department further notes, "After snatching the money, the suspect ran from the store with the complainant following him. The complainant was able to catch the suspect when a struggle ensued. During the struggle the complainant was pushed
