A new worm species, with five different mouth shapes, has been found to have a unique way of adjusting to the type of food resource available to it.

A new worm species has been found to have a unique way of adjusting to the type of food resource available to it. 
According to researchers with the Max Planck Institute of Developmental Biology, this particular nematode has five different mouth shapes that are so distinct that they at first appeared to belong to different animals. 
However, an examination of the creatures’ genes confirmed that they all belonged to the same species.
