Reversing a six-year-old neutral expression policy, the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles is allowing residents to smile for their photos once again.

If you live in the Commonwealth of Virginia, get ready to bare your teeth in official identification—if you so desire.
The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles is allowing residents to smile in their pictures once again--jettisoning the six-year-old neutral expression policy. 
DMV Commissioner Richard D. Holcomb, said, "We heard loud and clear from customers that they prefer posing with smiles."
