200 Visitors Braved Snow To Make 90th Annual Trek To Nation's Christmas Tree

A group of nearly 200 visitors braved the snow to make the journey to “The Nation’s Christmas Tree” where America’s veterans were honored in a ceremony and wreath-laying.


On Sunday, nearly 200 visitors came amidst the snow to make the 90th annual Trek to the Nation's Christmas Tree. 
Also known as the General Grant Tree, it's said to be "the only living memorial to our nation's veterans."
According to the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks' Facebook page, "During the ceremony, speeches were about the General Grant Tree’s role as a national shrine in memory of the men and women of the Armed Forces who have served, fought, and died to keep America free."
