Little Mermaid fan makes himself into 'male mermaid'

An amusing video has emerged from China of a university student dressed like a mermaid, with a homemade outfit, going for a swim.

The footage, filmed by a local resident in Henan Province on Tuesday, shows him imitating the imaginary creature to frolic in a lake.

According to the filmer, the Henan University student nicknamed Lonny said he had been very touched by the Little Mermaid story since reading it at 7 - recently spending two months making the costume for himself.
