Macedonia’s foreign minister defends the filtering of migrants

Macedonia faces an unprecedented wave of migrants who are desperately trying to reach the European Union via the so-called Balkan route. Foreign Minister Nikola Poposki justifies the construction of a fence to secure the Schengen border and filtering the type of migrants it will allow entry. He also defends Nicolas Gruevski who was recently forced to resign as prime minister on the back of a scandal.
