Researchers have confirmed that blood vessel-like structures from the 80-million-year-old remains of a hadrosaur belong to the animal itself.

Blood vessels found in dinosaur fossils have been confirmed to belong to the creature itself, according to researchers from North Carolina State University. 
It was previously speculated that the blood vessel-like structures could have somehow contaminated the 80-million-year-old hadrosaur bones via some foreign material, but that's since been ruled out through the use of high resolution mass spectroscopy.
