Unfortunately, many deer lose their lives on the road every day.
However, one appeared to have miraculously survived after being hit by a police car.
The dashcam footage captured it all.
According to the Kenton County Police Department, Officer Pittaluga "applied his brakes and steered away from the deer in a controlled manner. Although he didn't manage to avoid the collision, he did maintain control of his vehicle throughout the entire incident."
The deer seemed to brush the direct hit off and ran into the woods.
