Ndërkohë qe kreu i Komisionit parlamentar te Integrimit Ditmir Bushati ka preferuar te shohë perspektiven rajonale te këtij procesi, pasi sipas tij, boshti sllav është shume para boshtit shqiptar ne raport me BE. Komisioneri për Zgjerimin Stefan Fule ka bere apel qe reforma parlamentare dhe ajo zgjedhore te mbyllen para fillimit te procedurave për zgjedhjen e presidentit por kur nga kjo date na ndajnë vetëm 3 dite, konsensusi duket ende larg.
