Batida de Milho Verde - The Morgenthaler Method

No doubt, you have heard of the caipirinha, the deliciously refreshing cachaça based cocktail from Brazil that has successful migrated across the globe. Arguably more popular in its home country is the Batida (Bah-chee-dah), a blended (beaten when literally translated) beverage that can include any fruit or juice as well as coconut or condensed milk and myriad other ingredients, as long as the base spirit is cachaça. In this episode, Jeffrey explores the mysterious Batida de Milho Verde, a variation made with, of all things, corn.
