Colombian Defense Minister Luis Carlos Villegas announced on Wednesday that four members of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) have been killed and two others captured in a military operation in southwestern Colombia. According to Villegas, 27-year-old Beatriz Santuria, who died in the operation, was the head of a FARC unit involved in extortion and drug trafficking. He said authorities seized weapons and documents of intelligence value. The government had suspended airstrikes on rebel camps, but not other types of military operations. teleSUR
