Cuba: Peace Negotiators Agree to Search for Disappeared

The Colombian government and the FARC rebels have reached yet another major agreement in the peace talks currently underway in Havana. Both sides will turn over information on the location and identification of the remains of those who died in their custody to the International Committee of the Red Cross, thereby making it possible to design search plans for the disappeared. Over the weekend “Operation Orion” was also commemorated in Medellin, in which 272 were killed and 98 are still missing in a clash between paramilitary and armed forces during the Alvaro Uribe administration. teleSUR
