Venezuela Announces Roadmap to Resolve Dispute With Guyana

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced that a diplomatic roadmap to resolve the conflict with neighboring Guyana over the disputed Esequibo region will be unveiled in November. A second round of talks to resolve the dispute will be held next month. Maduro explained Venezuela's historical claim to the border area to a visiting U.N. mediation team. teleSUR
