Mexico: Ayotzinapa Family Members Ready for Satuday’s Mass March

Family members of the 43 Ayotzinapa students showed no signs of fatigue after a 43-hour fast as they prepared for Saturday’s mass march for justice one year after their children were forcibly disappeared. They say their previous distrust of the State has turned into disdain. Classmates said the pain and rage of the last year will not stop them from pursuing their goal of graduating and becoming teachers with a critical perspective even though they believe the Mexican government still has plans to eliminate their school. Their immediate goal is the safe return of their classmates. Clayton Conn reports from Mexico forteleSUR
