Cosmonauts open a new exhibition at the Science Museum

Valentina Tereshkova, the first woman in space, along with Sergei Krikalev, a fellow cosmonaut, has opened a brand new exhibition at the Science Museum of Russian spacecraft and artefacts from the space race. On the importance of being the first woman in space she says it would be impossible not to feel something above the earth’s orbit like that. Krikalev feels that the general public don't have a clear understanding of the early days of space programme but this is a good exhibition to teach them. Report by Duffys.
