Gaza: Venezuelan Scholarship Students Protest Delay

Palestinian students chosen to receive a Venezuelan scholarship are protesting the postponement of their travel to the Latin American country. They charge that they have been waiting for over a year to begin their studies in social medicine. In November 2014, the first group of 119 students arrived in Venezuela to begin their studies, and a few months ago, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced that the Yasser Arafat scholarship program would cover one thousand more Palestinians for studies at the medical school in Caracas. The second group awaits a travel date. Noor Harazeen reports from Gaza for teleSUR
