Trailer: Babe Ruth plays himself in this vintage silent film about his life in the small town of Haverlock. Babe lives with his mother his foster sister named Pigtails. When Babe’s rival, Harry Knight, comes to town as the new pitcher, Babe must compete for a spot on the Haverlock team and win the adoration of his love, Mildred Tobin, played by Ruth Taylor. Recruited by another town’s team when their pitcher is drunk, Babe makes a homerun for the rival team. The townspeople are so angry at Babe he must leave town.
