Guan Eng: We'll fight to restore local elections

The Penang state government has given the federal court two weeks to restore local government elections in the Penang Island Munical Council and Seberang Prai Municipal Council.
Penang CM, Lim Guan Eng said the failure to do so would result in the state initiating a legal suit against the federal government and the election commission, to declare that the state government has jurisdiction to conduct elections in two of its municipal councils.
