Web TV: A basic necessity?

The first part of our Web TV story, we featured two Malaysian pioneers who 13 years ago 'dabbled' in producing TV for distribution through the Internet, though for Kamarul Mohamed who operated Malaysia.tv, it was more a video-on-demand offering. For Noor Azman Yusoff, Cyberjaya.tv as an attempt at testing the waters to see if viewers can accept 'TV' on the web. Mind you, this was the dial-up era and the very early days of Streamyx and watching online video needed some level of patience. And this was also before the days of YouTube.
For this final part, we talked to them about how they see the future of Internet TV. Continuing with the conversation also are Premesh Chandran of Malaysiakini who continuously pushes the boundaries of content delivery through the Internet and Jahabar Sadiq of The Malaysian Insider who has yet to put a video channel in TMI because he has not be happy with the level of content production that he has seen so far.
