Haitian Elections Marred by Sporadic Violence

Haitians went to the polls yesterday, for the first time in four years. The voting was marred by sporadic violence and some polling stations did not have enough ballots, which forced 3% of them to close. Parliament's mandate ran out in January and since then President Michel Martelly has had to rule by decree. Results will not be available for 10 days. teleSUR
