We have a very special short story this Friday!
This is a short story that I remember from my childhood. My school librarian made it up when I was in forth grade. He was one of those wonderful and rare individuals who never ceased to dream. It was from him that I believe my imagination and love for literature took root. I kept in contact with him over the years following my graduation from elementary school, well up into high school. He retired when I was fifteen, and sadly, I haven't seen or heard from him since. I hate to accept the fact that he's probably no longer with us, seeing as that was over ten years ago...
I felt compelled to share his story with the world. He was an amazing man, and he truly deserves to be remembered :)
