Chile: Six Former Military Officials To Be Charged with Murder

Two former military officers who served under Agosto Pinochet in Chile will face murder charges for the fatal burning two students in a protest against the dictatorship in 1986. They are accused of setting fire to U.S. citizen Rodrigo Rojas, a photographer, and former Chilean student Carmen Gloria Quintana. Rojas died and Quintana was seriously disfigured, undergoing 40 operations and years of medical treatment. The victims families say the punishment should be as severe as the crime. teleSUR
