Aaron and Robert (Emmerdale) - [21st July 2015]

Lawrence tells Aaron to give the farm machinery convention a miss, and when questioned why, admits that Paddy told him about Aaron's past. In the cafe, Paddy tries to get out of going to lunch at Home Farm, but Rhona is having none of it. Paddy fakes a breakdown in Robblesfield and rings Rhona to cancel lunch. Aaron shows up in the pub looking for Paddy and agrees to fix his car when Rhona tells him about the breakdown. At the layby, Aaron confronts Paddy about what he said to Lawrence, and Paddy admits it was to keep him away from Robert. When Aaron gets angry, Paddy tells Aaron the truth about Robert trying to kill him and threatening his family. Aaron doesn't want to believe it at first, but bursts into tears when he realizes he could have lost Paddy. Robert shows up in the backroom of the pub looking for Aaron, who tells him that he has booked a private lodge at the site of the convention anyway so that they can be alone without any interference.
