Aaron and Robert (Emmerdale) - [22nd July 2015]

Chrissie tries to invite herself along to the conference with Robert, but he offers to take her on a holiday later. Paddy comes round to the pub to check on Aaron. When Chas tells him he is stopping over with a mate, they worry it might be Robert. Robert arrives at the lodge where Aaron is waiting outside. After a little small talk, Aaron convinces Robert to get his bags from the car while he sets his phone to record and hides it in a stack of brochures. Robert attempts to get intimate with Aaron, but Aaron pushes him off and accuses him of trying to kill Paddy. Robert eventually admits to wanting to scare Paddy. Incensed, Aaron begins to question Robert about what happened with Katie. Robert finally tells Aaron the truth that he pushed Katie, leaving Aaron furious that Robert let him be overwhelmed with guilt over her death. Aaron punches Robert and the pair scuffle until Robert hits Aaron over the head with a beer bottle and knocks him out. Robert finds the phone and destroys it when he hears the recording, then ties Aaron to a radiator while he is still unconscious. Once Aaron awakens, Robert tells him that whatever happens next will be all his fault.
